We love our little orchestral guitar, and in the Performer set up it's a Superstar. Its body size makes it easier to play, worth considering if you're a younger player or smaller framed (mind you one of its owners who loves it is a big guy!)

This is supposedly our entry level Orchestral model but in the Performer specification it thinks it's a top end guitar - If you want some thing that gives you the flexibility to record or perform on stage then this could be for you.

The guitar has features such as our specially selected A to AA grade solid spruce top. We've chosen this due to its beautiful aesthetic appeal but also over the years acoustic instrument makers have sought out the best materials to give the best/nicest sound.

The O15P also has scalloped bracing; all acoustic guitars have to have bracing simply as the top is under stress from the tension of the strings be anchored to it via the bridge. Our braces being scalloped means that they are taller, slightly thinner and shaved so that they retain strength but also allow the top to vibrate as freely as possible.

Also included is mahogany back and sides, that tend to give a warmer sound and a mahogany neck for strength. It also has a rosewood fingerboard fitted with mother of pearl mini split diamonds added to the overall appeal of the instrument.

As this is our performer version we've wanted to make our workhorse equipped for its hopefully hard life of constant gigs, festivals and TV work by equipping it with a passive under saddle pick up (a preamp will be needed) so that you can play live or record that next album.

We have also selected Grover Rotomatic machine heads with the upgrade of Ebony buttons for that extra look of style. All of these features would normally be found on professional higher priced acoustic guitars but for Nineboys they're standard.
